The Role
The Food Truck Driver is responsible for driving and positioning the truck before service. You also may assist with setup, breakdown, and light prep as needed. You’re not just a driver — you’re part of the crew, helping Houstatlantavegan deliver its best wherever we go. Morning shift only.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and park the food truck to daily location(s) and events
- Handle fueling, propane, and basic truck maintenance checks
- Assist with setup (generator, signage, supplies) and breakdown
- Help with food prep, customer service, or cashiering during shifts as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of truck exterior and interior
- Report any mechanical issues immediately
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
- Experience driving larger vehicles (box trucks, RVs, buses, or food trucks) preferred
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
- Team-player mindset — willing to pitch in beyond driving duties
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
